Originally in the 1991 cookbook
1/2 cube margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
- Heat margarine over medium heat until golden brown. Cool.
- Gradually add sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in syrup and water.
- Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute.
- Cool slightly.
- Stir in nuts.
