Originally in the 1994 cookbook
1 cube margarine
1 pound brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Combine margarine, brown sugar and corn syrup.
- Stir well, until dissolved, over medium heat.
- When boiling, stir in salt, milk, granulated sugar and simmer.
- Stir constantly, until it forms a soft ball.
- Pour over popped corn.
