Originally in the 1991 cookbook
3 cups flour
1/2 – 1 cup milk
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
- Mix together, make into small balls approximately the size of golf balls.
- Roll out on a floured surface.
- Stretch with fingers if necessary.
- Cook on ungreased grill until brown speckled and bubbly.
Makes 8-20 tortillas
